I invite you to visit the newest Sacred Images gallery of planetary yantra. Here you will find yantra representing Sun, Moon, Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, Venus and Mercury.
Plans are to expand the planetary selection with Ketu and Rahu, along with adding additional interpretations of the various planets. A planetary yantra, used alone or in conjunction with specific corresponding individual planetary mantra, can be effectively used as a propitiatory device to either enhance beneficial possibilities, or to aid in circumventing less favorable tendencies according to oneʼs individual Vedic astrological chart.
These yantra can be ordered as prints in the standard sizes offered by Sacred Images. If the size desired is not met by the sizes listed, please feel free to contact me at: pennylea@sacredimagespublishing.com, so that the appropriate size can be ordered on an individual basis.
To learn more about Vedic astrology, or to determine which planetary yantra is most appropriate for you, please visit the website of the Northwest Institute of Vedic Sciences.
New also you will find additional images available in both the original Yantra and Sacred Images Collection galleries.
The extended Sacred Images Collection brings you even more choices in sacred imagery. These images span several cultures: the Americas, East Indian, Egypt, Buddhist, and Christian. As with Yantra and Feng Shui, these images are designed to bring awareness to your personal sacred space, or to be used as a balancing tool in your home and work environments.
Public Installations
Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame IN
Penny designed and installed several areas in the new Spes Unica academic building on the Saint Mary's campus. "She’s professional, creative, insightful, imaginative, sensitive, rigorous, precise, punctual and passionate! This is Penny Mackie, artist!
"Penny was absolutely meticulous in her preparation for designing projects for our new academic building that was dedicated in October, 2008. She studied the Saint Mary’s College campus that is ‘rich with design and architectural elements that repeat throughout the buildings throughout the 165-year history of the College.’ Penny used symbols already part of the design and architecture on campus and proposed a foyer design that stitches together the Christian and Catholic roots along with the mission charged by *Blessed Basil Moreau in establishing Saint Mary’s College. Every design was completed with such precise detail it was possible to join Penny’s art (from Boise, ID) with The Frame Factory (South Bend, IN) and Architectural Glass Art, Inc. (Lousiville, KY) to complete the projects with one-hundred percent satisfaction.
"The simplicity of the lines used in the painted panels of the foyer is echoed again in the glass panels of the Reflection Room and the twelve crosses installed at the entry to each classroom. The exquisite, framed crosses are interpretations of crosses from a variety of cultures and countries.
"Working with PennyLea Mackie has been an opportunity to better understand an artist at work and to experience a person who is not only committed to her professional life but is a caring woman . The completion of three projects has been most rewarding because of PennyLea Mackie’s expertise."

"PennyLea is a delight to work with ... accommodating, skillful, a true artist in every sense of the word. I met Penny when we at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center Boise, ID., were just beginning to select artists for our new Central Tower . We used many of her works including two beautiful representations of the Blessed Mother, some delicate herbs uniquely framed to display them at their best and an unusual series of crosses placed on a wall near the cafeteria to enable employees, staff and visitors to see and appreciate them. One of our sisters was so impressed with the crosses she engaged Penny to make additional crosses for a new academic building at Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame, IN. Penny is a gifted artist, a joy to work with."

"First and foremost, Penny is an amazing healer. She listens to you and inquires until she feels that she understands what you want and need. Never once did I feel steered in anything but an authentic path during the collaboration process of choosing a piece from her gorgeous inventory of work. I have to admit, I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted. I wasn’t even sure if art had anything to do with healing. I just wanted something beautiful for my foyer!
"When the piece arrived, meticulously packaged and framed in a fit-for-royalty gold-gilded frame, my personal journey with the Goddess of Compassion, White Tara, began. As the years go by and White Tara hangs in full view from the many angles of my home, I am touched by her grace and benefic aura. Many years ago I placed my intention in becoming a compassionate human being, and the White Tara that Penny created brings it into my home, my psyche and heart. In retrospect I think Penny painted that piece for me long before I understood the implications of having White Tara in my home. And now that she is a permanent resident, I feel continually supported by her presence and tender reminders to live according to my deepest values."
